Chapter VI Application
FAB2 has a very wide application range. In order to let the user know the
wide application area and the convenience for FAB2, we will show some
common and representative control schemes herein. After you read these
schemes, it is easy and convenient for using FAB2 to achieve automatically
control requirements, especially in a system requiring time control and intelligent
living area etc.
6.1 Bell control for schools, factories etc
Control requirements:
Monday to Friday: During 6:00:00 to 12:00:00 AM and 14:00:00 to 17:00:00
PM, the bell shall ring once every hour for 10 seconds.
Saturday and Sunday: During 8:00:00 to 12:00:00 AM and 13:00:00 to 17:00:00
PM, the bell shall ring once every 2 hours for 10 seconds.
Analyze:
The control of 11 time intervals from Mon to Fri and 6 time intervals from
Sat and Sun is necessary. As the traditional method, it must adopt lots of time-
delayed relays and the circuitry is quite complex, whereas it is easy and simple
by using FAB2. Please refer to in the below figure, there is only one line section
for its required external circuitry, i.e. an output of FAB2 is directly connected to
the bell to perform the bell control. The program dialogue is as follows:
