Care and Maintenance
Inspection
The following is a list of actions for inspection to be conducted every time the
Maxi Sky
2
Transportable is installed into a receiving module and is destined to be used by a caregiver.
The receiving modules, for both the ECS system and the C-Stat system, must be dusted and
cleaned every month.
Points For Inspection / after every Maxi Sky 2 Transportable installation
1. Make sure the
door
of the receiving module can stay closed.
2. Make sure the
door
locks the receiving module in place, inside the Kwiktrak, when
opened.
NOTE: The door creates a friction between the receiving module and the Kwiktrak, so that
it remains locked in place. A substantial amount of force applied to the receiving module
may enable the receiving module to move inside the track.
3. Make sure the
rivet
and
the slider
are moving freely.
4. Inspect for evidence of external damage, corrosion or missing parts.
5. Inspect ECS cable for wear and tear.
6. Inspect the
contact blades for evidence of external damage, broken or missing parts.
If the contact blades are damaged or altered, refer to Conversion Guide 001-31432-EN.
7. Inspect cleanliness and external aspect of contact blades .
8. Inspect wheels and make sure there is no damage and that they are moving freely.
