• 6 mm allen key
In addition, a sturdy stepladder will be required to reach the track and secure the module inside
the Kwiktrak. The receiving modules must be installed by an authorized contractor or installer
and in accordance to local regulations.
Preparing to install the Receiving Module
Installation of the receiving module will only be possible after the Kwiktrak system has been
opened.
1) Remove the plastic cap located at the
extremity of the Kwiktrak: (Fig. 1)
a. To remove the
plastic cap from the
end of the ECS
Kwiktrak system, use a
6 mm allen key to
loosen the screw
securing the plastic
cap inside the
Kwiktrak;
b. If an ECS contact
box is present, remove
it from the track.
2) Use the 6 mm allen key to unscrew the end
stopper located further, inside the Kwiktrak;
(Fig. 2)
3) Still using the 6 mm allen key, push inside
the second hole and slide the end stopper to
remove it from the track; (Fig. 3)
