If you set Speech Setting to [ON] while shooting still pictures,
this icon turns blue when voices are detected.

Switch the camera mode to Camera/Video Camera.

Location info (auto)

Shake Reducing
Set it to [SINGLE ON] to reduce camera shakes without
deteriorating the image quality. When you set it to [DOUBLE
ON], more image noises may appear than when setting it to
[SINGLE ON], in which way, however, you can adjust even a
slight shake.

Use [SINGLE ON] to prioritize the image quality. Use
[DOUBLE ON] to prioritize camera shakes reduction.
･
Make the settings for camera shakes reduction in various
settings on the shooting screen.

Remaining number/time for shooting
Displayed when the remaining number for shooting decreases
to less than 99 as for the still picture shooting mode.
Even after shooting a still picture/video, remaining number/
time for shooting may not be changed.

Shoot a still picture.

you use the in-camera, maximum magnification (zoom

Shooting screen layout
Voice operation
Speak at your natural speed. In the following cases, your voices
may not be recognized properly.
When the surrounding noise is big
When noises such as from clearing your throat are made
before or after the phonation
When the phonation is not clear such as when the phonation
is interrupted
When the phonation is not natural such as when you pause
between every two syllables
Try the followings when your voices are not recognized
properly.
Make sure not to speak too fast
Make sure to speak at the microphone and not to speak in
too small a voice
Make sure to speak 5 to 10 cm away from the microphone
Some words you speak may be recognized as another ones
depending on the pronunciation.
Camera
Video camera
The remaining time indicator is an approximation. Shooting may
continue longer than the remaining time indicated before the
start of shooting or may automatically stop even when there is
remaining time depending on the subject.
