NOTES FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
3.1
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
You should ask the company that installs the automation to provide a scheduled maintenance plan in compliance with the
regulations for this type of equipment.
The maintenance operation suggested by

for the electrical system
is the following
:

Check the efficiency and adjustment of safety devices and the anti-crush device. Check the
photocells, the detector and the safety edge
every 6 months
Check the efficiency of the electrical equipment. Test the efficiency of the
differential overload switch protecting the unit
every 6 months
Check the inside of the electrical box. Clean out any insects, dirt or dampness
every 6 months
Check the efficiency of the remote control batteries. Change spent batteries
every 6 months
Remove branches, bushes or other obstacles which might permanently obstruct or interrupt
the photocell beam
every 6 months
Before you start any maintenance operations, disconnect the automation from the mains power supply using the
system electrical differential switch!
Batteries are consumables and as such are not covered by the guarantee.
Do not throw away old batteries with household waste. Dispose of old batteries using the old battery containers provided at
sales outlets.

INFORMATION FOR THE USER
This instruction manual is an integral part of the product and should accompany the product throughout its life cycle up until
decommissioning. It should be stored in a accessible place ready for immediate reference. The instructions and warnings
must be given to the user and then read carefully because they include important warnings for use and maintenance.
Use this
equipment
for the permitted uses only. All other uses constitute improper and hazardous use.
Do NOT tamper with or modify the product in any way.
Perform maintenance at the recommended intervals. See the maintenance manual and schedule issued by the installer.
Only suitably skilled technicians trained on the product are authorised to connect up, test, put into service, clean
and maintain this product.
The user is not allowed to operate neither on the system or on the control unit, neither within the electrical box. In
the event of any faults, disconnect the operator from the mains power supply using the main switch. Do not attempt
to repair the equipment and contact the installer or other specialist assistance centre. Failure to follow these
instructions may result in hazardous situations. In the event of an operating fault or a mains power failure you can
OPERATE THE GATE BY HAND (for instructions, see the Operator installation manual).
Keep remote control and other control units in a safe place to prevent use by children or unauthorised people.
