Do not force the rotation of the adjuster
screws (1) and (2) beyond the end of the
stroke in either direction, in order to
a v o i d d a m a g i n g t h e d a m p i n g
mechanism.
Use the number of clicks of the adjuster
screws (1) and (2) as reference marks
for the adjustment of hydraulic damping
on extension and compression.
Turn the adjuster screws (1) and (2) one
click at a time and turn the adjusting nut
(3) one turn at a time.
Make sure that the spring pre-load and
hydraulic damping, both on extension
and compression, is the same for both
sides. A different setting on each side
will result in instability.
When the spring pre-load is increased,
you must also increase the hydraulic
d a m p i n g , b o t h o n e x t e n s i o n a n d
compression, to avoid unsteady shock
action while riding.

The competition adjustment must be
used in organized racing or circular
course competitive event, under the
auspices of a recognized sanctioning
body or by permit issued by the local
g o v e r n m e n t a l a u t h o r i t y h a v i n g
jurisdiction.
I t i s s t r i c t l y f o r b i d d e n t o u s e t h e
competition adjustment while riding the
vehicle on public streets, roads, or
highways.
