Display Unit Setup
NOTE:
After installation an EMPTY BIN calibration must be performed. After a known amount of feed
is added, a FULL BIN calibration can be performed, but it is not necessary, as the load cells are
pre-calibrated.
General Display Unit Guidelines
1. There are two modes; Normal Display, Configuration Menus.
2. Upon initial startup after installation, the user will be prompted for initial configuration values.
3. To get to the Configuration Menus from the Normal Display mode, select both the up and down arrow
buttons simultaneously.
4. When modifying a multi-digit value, the “Enter” button must be pressed after each digit in order to
advance to the next digit. Digits advance from left to right.
5. To save any modified value, the “Enter” button must be pressed on the last digit or the desired
selection from a list.
6. To advance to the next menu item, the “Cal” button must be pressed.
7. There is no “Back” button for these menus. Re-enter the menus to return to a previous menu.
8. After 20 seconds of no activity in any menu, the unit will return to Normal Display mode.
Normal Display
The display unit will normally be displaying the weight of the bin in pounds or kilograms. The display in
normal mode will read as follows depending on the units selected: “Weight lbs nnnnn”, “Weight kg nnnnn”
where nnnnn is a number.
NOTE:
When entering or changing a parameter, pressing the “Cal” key will abort that operation.
