Weekly Steam Generator Maintenance
Your Cheese Melter utilizes an open steam gen-
erator. When introduced, water immediately vapor-
izes and creates a burst of steam, leaving behind
any minerals that had previously been dissolved.
Though a small amount of minerals are necessary
for proper operation, excessive amounts will cause
poor steaming and may permanently damage the
Generator.
1. Turn the power off, unplug the power cord,
and allow the unit to cool.
2. Remove the Heat Shield and Top Cover.
3. Remove the Generator Cover (Wing Nut is
attached to the cover).
4. Remove the Diffuser.
