One of the digits of the displayed calibration wavelength flickers. This implies
that the MT9812B is now in the setting mode. The value of the flickering digit
can be changed by pressing either the

or
↓
key, and the flickering digit (which
can be inputted) can be changed by pressing either the

key.

turns to “THz”.

The pressing this key establishes the setting.

POINT
You can change the setting of the calibration wave-
length (optical frequency) without pressing the Enter
key, but the display continues to flicker. It is therefore
recommended that the setting be confirmed by press-
ing the Enter key and the setting status be completed.
The conversion between the optical frequency and
wavelength is executed using the following formula.

The execution result is displayed after rounding the
value at less than the displayed least digit. As a result,
the value obtained after the conversion process from
optical frequency to wavelength and the value from
wavelength to optical frequency may differ.
