37XXXD MM

Many of the troubleshooting procedures presented in this chapter require the removal of instrument covers
to gain access to printed circuit assemblies and other major assemblies.

WARNING

Hazardous voltages are present inside the instrument when ac
line power is connected. Turn off the instrument and remove the
line cord before removing any covers or panels. Trouble shooting
or repair procedures should only be performed by service per-
sonnel who are fully aware of the potential hazards.

CAUTION

Many assemblies in the VNA contain static-sensitive compo-
nents. Improper handling of these assemblies may result in
damage to the assemblies. Always observe the static-sensitive
component handling precautions described in Chapter 1, Fig-
ure 1-2.
