11.2.7 Repeat 1st frequency
This function enables an automatic retest of the first test frequency (1kHz) when running a Computer test.
This may be used for correlation of patient responses.
11.2.8 Beep after Test
If this option is set to ‘Beep’, a short audible tone is generated to alert the operator that the test has finished.
If this option is set to ‘Long beep’, the audible tone continues for approximately 15 seconds. Any key (apart
from ALT, CAPS and SHIFT) will cancel the tone.
11.2.9 Threshold Tries
When Computer test mode is used, this option allows the threshold pass criteria at any particular frequency
to be set at either 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 consistent responses.
11.2.10 Pulse in Manual
This option is used in ma
nual operation. When set to ‘Yes’ a series of tone pulses is presented when the
PRESENT
key is pressed; when set to ‘No’ the tone is continuous.
11.2.11 Plot Previous
When set to ‘Yes’, the results of any previous test are plotted on the Audiogram page; when set to ‘No’, these
results are not plotted, although they are still presented on the Test Details page.
11.2.12 Print Symbols
This function allows the operator to choose the style of the audiogram printout when ‘Print’ is selected in the
Test Details page. When set to ‘No’ a graphical trace is printed which shows all tone presents, patient
responses and thresholds; when set to ‘Yes’ the thresholds only are printed (“-x-“ for a left ear threshold and
“-o-“ for a right ear threshold).

If incorrect enter the current time using the keyboard.
11.3
SOFTKEY OPTIONS
11.3.1 Set defaults
Pressing this softkey will reconfigure the set up options to factory settings.
11.3.2 Cal
This softkey is used when calibrating the audiometer. There is no access for the operator.
11.3.3 Save Set-up
Pressing this softkey will save the changes made in SETUP mode such that all subsequent tests are performed
in accordance with the new settings.
