the ‘Encrypt’ button to encrypt the file. The following message will be displayed if the encryption
was successful, and the encrypted file will be created in the selected location.
This file may then be copied to a USB memory stick and imported to the CA850 (after renaming to
‘exportdata.cry’ if necessary). See Section 10.4.7 of this operating manual.

Decryption (for example, after exporting data from the CA850)
Encrypted data that has been exported from the CA850 will initially reside on a USB memory stick although it
may be copied to any convenient location on a computer. This data will typically be used with the Amplivox
‘Audibase’ application. Data encrypted on a computer (as described in A3.2) may also be decrypted as
described below.
To decrypt the data file, run the file
named ‘Amplivox encryption.exe’ and the following window will open.
Locate a file to decrypt by clicking the
button next to the ‘Encrypted file’ field and browse to find the
required file in the usual way. Select the file to de
crypt and click on the ‘Open’ button. Note that ‘exportdata.cry’
