STEP 17:

Slide it back onto the upper track section.

STEP 18:

Line it up with your pencil mark and move the lift arm

until the pivot aligns with the new position of the upper bracket.

STEP 19:

Install the pivot shoulder-bolt. Get it tight, ref about

STEP 20:

Position the fork on the other pivot. Install the fork pivot

shoulder bolt and tighten.

STEP 21:

Position the link arm as shown at right between the

tracks and the two pivoting arms.

STEP 22:

Start both shoulder bolts on the ends of the link arm.

Don’t tighten both until both are started.

STEP 23:

Put the two ball-studs for the gas strut, with their two jam-

nuts, into their holes and tighten them.
