Event Monitoring
WINBIOS Setup Power Management Setup for the Super Voyager PCI-II motherboard defines system events that can be
monitored for activity and suspended. When the
BIOS Power Management
option is set to
Enabled,
the following options
are enabled.
Keyboard Activity
When this option is set to
Monitor,
the system BIOS monitors all keyboard activity. The BIOS sends the computer to suspend
state if no keyboard activity occurs during the length of time specified in the
Suspend Timer Value
Power Management
option. The settings are
Monitor
or
Ignore.
The Optimal default setting is
Monitor.
Video Activity
When this option is set to
Monitor,
the system BIOS monitors all video activity and sends the computer to suspend state if no
video activity occurs for the length of time specified in the
Suspend Timer Value
Power Management option. The settings
are
Monitor
or
Ignore.
The Optimal default setting is
Monitor.
HDD/FDD Activity
When this option is set to
Monitor,
the system BIOS monitors all hard disk drive and floppy disk drive activity and sends the
computer to suspend state if no drive activity occurs for the length of time specified in the
Suspend Timer Value
Power
Management option. The settings are

or
Ignore.
