Configuring Input Channels in Active Digital Mode
The threshold value for inputs 1–4 is 2 volts. If the input voltage is greater
than 2 volts, an open state occurs. When less than 2 volts, a closed state
occurs.
The threshold value for inputs 5 and 6 is 1.5 volts. If the input voltage is
greater than 1.5 volts, an open state occurs. When less than 1.5 volts, a
closed state occurs.
Complete the following steps to configure a channel in active digital
mode:
1.
On the main configuration window, click the channel button that
corresponds to the input channel you are configuring. The
Channel Setting
window displays (Figure 2-10).

Enable the input channel for service by clicking the
Enable
check
box.

:
When a channel is disabled, the unit turns off the channel
and does not take readings. If there are any unused input channels,
disable these input channels to prevent transmission of unnecessary
data packets to your website account. Two separate data packets
transmit to the website account when working with the unit. The
unit transmits one packet for inputs 1 through 4 and a second
packet for inputs 5 and 6.
