KN2108 / KN2116 User Manual

Starting Up

To bring up the Log Server, either double click the program icon, or key in the
full path to the program on the command line. The first time your run it, a
screen similar to the one below appears:

Note:

The MAC address of the Log Server computer must be specified on
the

Network

page of the Administrator Utility (see

Log Server

page 40).

The screen is divided into three components:

Menu Bar

at the top

A panel that will contain a list of KN2108 / KN2116 units in the middle
(see

The Log Server Main Screen

A panel that will contain an

Events List

at the bottom

Each of the components is explained in the sections that follow.
