If you encounter a problem, please review the items in the following checklist. This guide will help
you isolate the problem if the system is at fault. Otherwise, make sure the system is properly
connected or consult your authorized Alpine dealer.

Blown fuse
Ambient temperature over

Moisture condensation
The vehicle position
changed after the ignition
was switched off.

The navigation screen is off.

Solution
Replace with a fuse of the prescribed
rating.
Lower the temperature in the vehicle
below 50°C, for example by running for a
while with the window open or by using
the air conditioner.
Allow enough time for the condensation
to evaporate (about 1 hour).
Drive for a while with GPS signal
reception.
Move to a location where GPS satellite
reception is easy.
Press the ON button on the remote
control.
Clean the disc.
Replace the remote control batteries.
Select "Set-up" from the main menu,
then select Guidance Conditions. (See
page 56.)
