Changing the country code setting
Set the country code when setting the rating level
(Parental lock).
NOTE
When the settings are changed, the old settings are
overwritten. Make a note of the current settings before
making changes. The settings are not cleared even when
the vehicle’s battery is disconnected.

In the stop mode, press and hold the
SETUP
button for at least 2 seconds.
The default setting menu appears on the monitor
screen.
NOTES
•
For some discs, the picture may not be set to the
selected screen size. (For details, refer to the
explanation on the disc’s jacket.)
•
Press the RETURN button to return to the previous
screen.

The settings are stored and the set up mode is
canceled.
NOTE
This operation cannot be performed in the PRE-STOP
mode. When the disc is being played, press the

twice to set the stop mode.

Use the
Joystick
to select “COUNTRY CODE”,
then press the
ENTER
button
.

Press the
ENTER
button to reset the country
code.

Use keys
“0” to “9”
to input the 4-digit country
code, then press the
ENTER
button.
NOTES
•
For the country codes, refer to “List of country
codes” (Pages 55, 56).
•
Can be erased one digit at a time each time the DEL.
button is pressed.
•
Press the RETURN button to return to the previous
screen.

This is selected upon shipment from the factory.
