3 Operation

Alpha Technologies

3.3 Testing the Unit

The self test confirms the unit can transfer into and out of Battery mode while continuing to
provide power to the loads. It takes about one minute to run.

TIP

: Performing scheduled periodic self tests is the best way to determine the battery’s

and the unit’s condition, ensuring reliable backup power.
