3.2 Turning the Unit On and Off (Continued)
TIP:
If the unit does not act as described, or a fault appears (Section 3.4) perform troubleshoot-
ing as described in Sections 3.4 or 4.2.
DANGER:
When the On/Off switch is turned off, or the unit is in a disabled or fault condi-
tion, the input power is passed directly through to the output with no line conditioning
provided.
Procedure:

Turn the utility power on.

Turn the input circuit breaker on.

Turn the On/Off switch on.
The LEDs on the control panel
sequentally flash, then shows line, buck or
boost mode (Section 3.9.3).

One at a time, turn on the load(s).
As each load is turned on, push down the
% Load button and see that the 110%
LED is off (Section 3.5). If it is on, the unit
is overloaded and the load must be
disconnected.
5
Turn the input circuit breaker off.
The unit switches to battery mode.

Turn the input circuit breaker on.
The unit switches to line, buck or boost
mode (Section 3.9.3).
