3.9 Operating the Control Panel
3.9.1 Control Panel Layout
The control panel's LEDs show what mode the unit is in and are used for troubleshooting. They
automatically update to show changes in the unit’s status and are explained in Sections 3.9.3 to
3.9.7.
Pushing the buttons in different combinations starts various functions as shown in Sections 3.3
to 3.8 and 3.9.2.
3.9.2 Mute/Test/Manual Start Button
Pushing the Mute/Test/Manual Start button does the following:

Test:
In
Line
mode, pressing it for at least 2 seconds starts the self test
(Section 3.3).
•
Manual Start:
When the LEDs are sequentially flashing, pressing it for at least 3
seconds switches the unit into Battery mode from Shutdown mode
(Section 3.9.7). If line power is qualified, the unit automatically
switches into Line mode. If it isn’t, it stays in Battery mode.
