The power supply connection is connected to termi-
nal block (X0) through the input on the back of the
unit (UB1, UB2) or through the input on the bottom
(UB3, UB4). The cable must be dimensioned accord-
ing to the applicable standards.
The 230V connection allows for a maximum power of
4.5kW to the additional heating. The connection should
be made according to the diagram in the user manual.

Protection
CAUTION
When a 230V connection is used, the maximum pow-
er of the additional heat used in the HM 6Split / HM
12Split unit is 4.5kW.
CAUTION
In the case of a dual tariff power supply, it is advisa-
ble to connect the neutral wire from the power supply
circuit (meter) - particularly when using a 230V con-
nection.
CAUTION
It is forbidden to install bridges at the connection of
lines L2 and L3. Otherwise, the appliance and the
electrical system may be damaged.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused
by failure to comply with the above instructions.

Electrical connections
Connecting HM 6Split / HM 12Split and L
Split
The device connecting cable should be connected to
the power supply terminal block (TB) in L Split and to
the terminal block (X10) in HM 6Split / HM 12Split .
Connect the phase (brown), neutral (blue), communi-
cation (black and grey) and protective (yellow-green)
conductors as shown in the drawing:
CAUTION
The L Split unit must be earthed before connecting
the appliance via the cable. Wiring must be secured so
that the terminal block is not under tension. The end
of the wire should be 8 mm long without insulation

The automatic heating control system, the circulation
pump and their wiring in HM 6Split / HM 12Split are
internally protected by miniature circuit breaker C10
(FA1). The L Split outdoor unit and accessories are in-
ternally protected in HM 6Split / HM 12Split by minia-
ture circuit breaker B20 (FA2).
In addition, the circuit breaker B20 (FA3) is applied to
protect the device power supply system against over-
load (protection at the neutral power supply circuit of
the device).
