Before Starting the Unit
Be sure to check the unit before operation. When any abnormality is found, be sure to repair it before
starting. Be sure to make daily check before operation. If the unit is operated without prior check and
without noticing its abnormality, such operation could cause seizure of components or may even cause fire.
Check Engine Oil Level
The unit should be level before the checking oil level. When you check oil level after you have started
operation, wait more than 10 minutes after stopping the engine before checking the oil level.
<Procedures>
1. Pull out the engine oil level dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.
2. Re-insert the dipstick fully and pull it out again. If the gauge shows the oil level between LOW and FULL
limits, it is normal.
3. When the oil level is below its MIN, add engine oil from engine oil filler port [A].

If the oil is found to be dirty or contaminated, change the oil.

To prevent engine output reduction when oil level is too high, do not put more oil in than FULL.
