IR cut filter
All Bonito PRO color models are equipped with an infrared block filter (IR cut filter).
This filter is employed to prevent infrared light from passing to the sensor. In the
absence of an IR cut filter, images are dominated by red and incapable of being
properly color balanced. Monochrome cameras do not employ an IR cut filter.
Figure 24 shows the transmission response for the IRC30 filter employed in Bonito
PRO cameras.
