2. In the
TFTP server’s IP address
field, specify the IP address of a TFTP server where the
firmware image is to stored. Make sure that you can reach the TFTP server and that the
server accepts connections from any client. (For details on setting up a TFTP server, see
the
Advanced Operations Guide
.
3. In the upper
File name
field, specify the full path name of firmware image file.
4. Click
Upgrade
.
To upgrade from a firmware image stored on the local computer:
1. From the System page, click
Upgrade
.
2. Click
Browse
. In the File Upload window, navigate to the firmware image file. Select the
file and click
Open
.
3. Click
Upgrade
.
Backing up a Configuration
As part of system maintenance, you should save and back up the configurations of
individual gateways in case you need to reload them in the future. The backup saves all the
parameters of the selected gateway in a file on your computer. The file can be used later to
restore the full configuration on this gateway or a partial configuration on another gateway.
The configuration is stored in a structured, plain text file, called a
configuration file
. Sensitive
information is encrypted in the file.
1. On the System page, click
Backup & Restore
gateway.
2. Specify an IP address of the TFTP server and a name of the backup file, and click
Backup
.
