A print signal prompts the printer to begin the printing process. The printing system can be operated with different con-
nection types. Four different example circuits for connection of the printing signal are presented below.

Connection to a relay output

Connection to an external power source

Connection to an output or NPN photocell

Connection to an input or PNP photocell

Establishing connection to the power supply

Ensure that the power supply switch is in the

Off

position before connecting the power supply to the printing system.

Connect the power supply to the printing system and lock the cable using the installed clip so that an undesired loosen-
ing of the cable is prevented. Use the supplied power supply connection cable to connect the power supply to a secured
power supply outlet.
