Operating and control
Heavy mechanical impact or shock during transport, for instance, may lead to electrical defects in
unfortunate instances. To ensure better operating safety we therefore recommend the following action
before first use or after extreme mechanical stress (e.g. dropping):
• Check the housing for damage
If the housing shows visible damage or extreme heating up, activate the emergency-OFF button
immediately, disconnect accu AC 4.5 from control AC 4.5 and stop the motor system.
Connecting the charging station
Accu AC 4.5 must be disconnected from control AC 4.5 for charging. Slide the accu AC 4.5 (4) parallel to the
mounting bar (1) as far toward the charging station (9) until the accu AC 4.5 lock engages with the mounting
bar (1) (see below). Check that the accu AC 4.5 (4) sits correctly on the mounting bar. Connect the plug-in
charger PB 4.5 (8) (Alternatively the plug-in charger PB) with the charging station (9) and accu AC 4.5 (4).
Then plug the plug-in charger PB 4.5 (alternatively the plug-in charger PB) into the home voltage supply.
The illuminated LED indicates the accu AC 4.5 charge level.
• LED shows permanent green, accu AC 4.5 is charged.
• LED flashes green, accu AC 4.5 is charging.
