The detector must be on for a few minutes before leak

Gross leak

Eliminate the leak :

Check the

torque of the screws on the
analyzer cell and VHS
preamplifier flanges.
If necessary, install the new
metal seals (cell seal and VHS
preamplifier seal).

FILAMENT DOES NOT LIGHT

The filament indicator does

not come on or the alarm

indicator light is on

Run an autocalibration

(see C 30)

Spray helium to leak check the flanges of the analyzer cell
and preamplifier. Eliminate any leaks as describe above.
