Program 2
is designed to search in littered areas. It has a good response
speed, but slightly inferior in sensitivity. Also, in the case of very strong
littering by large metal objects, it may be necessary to reduce the gain of
the device, which will increase the search efficiency. To reduce blinding
of the device in places with too large metal debris, especially at the same
time with a large amount of slag and brick, you can also shift the operat-
ing frequency from resonance (see Chapter Operating Frequency p. 21)
Program 3
is the main search program for an experienced user, com-
bining sufficient comfort with a very high sensitivity. If necessary, it is
possible to increase the sensitivity by increasing the settings of the RT,
ST and Gain of the device.
Program 4
- for cases when a search is required at slightly deeper depths,
however, it is worth remembering that this reduces the comfort of the
search, worsens the identification properties of the device, and also, if
the current mode is “Turbo”, the operating time from one set of batteries
is reduced by 2-3 times.
