The audio from each of the other Handsets is summed in a matrix and sent to the Handset you are using.
To keep the audio levels consistent, the AirCell
®
ST 3100 Transceiver allows the summed audio to be
matched to the level of an incoming call. Match the summed audio at each Handset, using the 14-turn
potentiometer. The factory sets the 14-turn potentiometers to a mid-range setting and in most installations
will not need adjustment in the field. These adjustments are minor volume adjustments that don’t adjust
from a minimum to a maximum volume level. The Audio Panel side tone level and overall conference call
audio level are also adjustable. These adjustments change the audio level out of the Audio Panel (A/P).
The AirCell
®
ST 3100 Transceiver also provides a microphone bias level through the Audio Panel. This is
an ON/OFF Bias logic function enabled by a jumper.
