Notes on mowing
The brush mower is designed for mow-
ing culm grass and thin woody brush.
However, it is not suitable for lawns in
parks.
The grass is cut at high speed by the
four rotating blades of the mowing rotor,
and it is pressed against the ejection
apron which rakes the clippings.
When mowing, the area to be mowed
should be worked anticlockwise so that
the brush cutter carries the clippings
towards the right side which has already
been mowed.
If the area to be mowed is too dense,
overgrown, rotten from below or lying, it
is necessary to reduce the mower's
working width to an appropriate extent
so that there is no accumulation of clip-
pings in front of the mower.
However, if this happens, disengage the
traction drive to allow the mower to eject
the accumulated clippings. However, if
the space between the mower rotor and
the discharge is blocked, switch off the
traction drive and the mower drive, turn
off the engine, and clean the space.
The stubble height is influenced by the
lower sliding disc and cannot be
changed. The disc copies the terrain.
Therefore, when mowing very uneven
areas, the stubble height may not be
uniform throughout the area.
When mowing, ensure that the lower
skid disc always rests on the ground
and does not jump away.
