V-belts
V-belt tension for traction drive
•
Take off the lower cover (D/5)
•
Unscrew the locknuts (D/2)
•
Tension V-belt for traction drive (D/9) by
means of the nut (D/3) until the V-belt has a
slack of approx. 10 - 15 mm. The V-belt for
the mower drive (D/8) remains slack
•
Tighten nuts (D/2) again
•
Reinstall the cover (D/5)
Tensioning the variator belt drive
•
Unscrew the nuts under the slotted holes of
the engine
•
Push the engine along the slotted holes of
the motor towards the steering bar until the
desired V-belt tension is reached
•
Fasten the nut D/3. After contact of nut with
mower housing, tighten another 1.5 to 2
turns
•
Tighten nuts (D/2) again
•
Replace worn nuts with new nuts
Do not tension the V-belt when the nuts
(D/2) are not loosened!
Gear shift for traction drive
•
The adjustment must be carried out in such
a way that the machine cannot be reversed
when the traction drive is engaged.
•
Adjustment is made with the Bowden cable
adjusting screw (H/2) and the adjusting
screw on the clutch lever (A/2).
