TROUBLESHOOTING
SEARCH FOR ANOMALIES
If the Mulcher malfunctions, search the causes and the solution of the problems in the following table:
PROBLEM

Excessive grinding of the product
to be cut
Mulcher too low
Slightly raise the Mulcher from the
ground, adjusting the height
Forward speed too slow
Increase the advancing speed
Scarce grinding of the product to
be cut
Mulcher too high
Slightly lower the Mulcher from
the ground, adjusting the height
Forward speed too high
Reduce the advancing speed
Terrain too wet or muddy
Wait for the terrain to dry
Rotor clogging
Terrain too wet or muddy
Wait for the terrain to dry
Mulcher too low
Raise the Mulcher from the ground
Forward speed too high
Reduce the advancing speed
Drop in rotor speed
Belt overheating
Adjust belt tension
The Mulcher bounces on the
ground or vibrates
Foreign bodies stuck between the
tools
Clean the rotor and tools
Tools mounted incorrectly, without
the helical layout or with the edge
penetrating the terrain
Check and re-install the tools
Worn or broken tools
Replace the tools
Deformation of the rotor due
to foreign bodies having hit the
central part
Replace the rotor. Contact the

Roller support bearing seizure
No oil lubrication

SPARE PARTS
Orders for spare parts must be addressed to the area resellers of Braber.
To request any particular spare part, first specify the data related to the machine, found printed on the
identification plate, and therefore:
• Machine type.
• Machine model.
• Serial number of the machine.
• Year of construction.
To this, add information regarding the piece being requested that is contained in the spare parts table and
therefore:
• Piece code number.
• Piece description.
• Quantity requested.
Finally, specify the most advantageous means for shipping the goods.
