4.2. Machine settings
A number of adjustments can be made on the Mulcher to help the operator in the various working conditions
that may arise.
4.2.1. Adjustment of the sliders and roller
Adjust the position of the lateral sliders and the stationary roller so that the tools do not come out of the plane
made by the two sliders. In this way, even if there are irregularities in the ground, the tools will not penetrate
the ground itself. It is important to check that the Mulcher is perfectly parallel to the ground in order to obtain
perfect operation. The adjustment must be carried out using the third point “Tp” of the tractor (Fig. 10).

Adjustment of working height
To adjust the working height, raise or lower the support sliders and the idle roller until obtaining the
desired position.
To correctly adjust the working height of the Mulcher, it is necessary:
• To gradually and completely lower the Mulcher, with the tractor off and the emergency brake on, using the
lifter, to ground level;
• Adjust the working height so that the tools are at about 3 - 4 cm from the ground (Fig. 11).

4.2.2. Adjustment of working height
To adjust the working height, raise or lower the support sliders and the idle roller until obtaining the
desired position.
To correctly adjust the working height of the Mulcher, it is necessary:
-- To gradually and completely lower the Mulcher, with the tractor off and the emergency brake on, using the
lifter, to ground level;
-- Adjust the working height so that the tools are at about 3 ÷ 4 cm from the ground (Fig. 11).
