4.1.5 Effective Use of Vertical Auger Feed
Mixer
This machine is produced as the best of the vertical auger feed mixers series. However,
there are certain matters where the user should pay attention while using the machine.
Following the recommendations given below allows a more prolonged use of the
machine without compromising its efficiency on the first day.
When connecting the machine to the tractor, be sure to use the shaft
recommended by the manufacturer.
Vertical auger feed mixers can vary according to customer requirements. For
machines which do not have oil tank and are directly connected to the hydraulic
system of the tractor, make sure that the power of your tractor meets the power
required by your machine.
The amount of feed that needs to be filled into the vertical auger feed mixers
at once is limited and if you exceed this amount, it may cause your tractor to
be extremely strained.
Make sure that the tractor meets the power required by the machine.
Feed mixing operation duration varies according to machine versions.
Set the feed mixer so that the power take-off initial speed is 400-450 rpm.
Take care not to leave any feed in the machine after the feed mixing and unloading
process. Check from the top of the machine observation platform.
Before and after each feed mixing process, make sure that there are no objects
such as stone, metal etc. that can damage the blades in your machine or the
machine itself.
For machine models with loading bucket, the amount of load that needs to be
loaded to the machine by means of a loading bucket is limited, never exceed this
amount. (max 150 kg)
4.1.6 Transportation of Vertical Auger Feed
Mixer
When going on public or private roads with the vertical auger feed mixer, observe the
traffic rules. Do not forget that careless handling when transporting the feed mixer from
one place to another can have undesired consequences. Also, do not forget that there are
extra rules to be observed when transporting the machine while it is attached to the
tractor.
