4.1.3 Preparation of Vertical Auger Feed Mixer
for Initial Use
You must make sure to read the manual of the vertical auger feed mixer in
detail and fully understand it. Information should be obtained about the
parts that are not fully understood by contacting the technical service.
Make sure that the towing hook of the machine is connected to the
tractor drawbar and the safety pin is attached from the bottom when
loading feed to the vertical auger feed mixer by means of the rear
bucket.
When using the shaft, reducer, oil tank etc. located on the vertical auger
feed mixer, make sure that the amount of the oil is sufficient.
Make sure that your tractor is compatible with the machine's hydraulic
or pneumatic systems, if any.
Make sure that the hydraulic and electrical connections of your tractor are in
good condition.
Check the electrical system of your tractor separately.
While loading the vertical auger feed mixer, continuously follow the load on
the machine by means of the weighing display, if any, and do not overload.
The capacity of the loading buckets used in vertical auger feed mixers is
limited and excessive loading creates serious problems.
4.1.4 Preparation of Vertical Auger Feed Mixer
for Routine Use
Before the daily routine use of the vertical auger feed mixer, you should
perform the following checks.
Check the durability of the towing hook.
Check the air pressure of the tires.
Check the oil tank and reducer oil levels.
Check the routine operation of the electrical system.
If you think there is a problem with the weighing display calibration, please refer
to the weighing display user manual provided with this user manual.
Before each operation, make sure that the machine's safety and warning
labels are not worn.
Check the condition of the auger blades before daily operation.
Make sure that there are no objects such as stone, metal etc. in the machine
before each operation.
