Permanent In-Vehicle Hardware Installation

E6474A positioned on mounting plate

To attaching the receiver to the mounting plate

Slip one end of the receiver under the latch tab.

Slide the receiver into place.

To detach the receiver

Pull the latch tab to release it.

Lift the receiver up approximately one inch (25mm), then
slide the receiver forward and lift out.

Installing the PDM in the Vehicle

Locate a flat surface of the vehicle to which the PDM can
be securely attached. Refer to

Figure 115

on page 187.

Mark the holes for the #12 mounting screws on the
mounting surface according to the hole pattern of the
PDM.
