The ASCI I data is sa v ed in the CITIle ASCI I format. CITIle adds informative headers
to the information in the le, and allo ws data to b e exc hanged with the Agilent Micro w a v e
Design System. Complete information on the CITIle format is pro vided at the end of this
c hapter.
Changing betw een DOS and LIF Discs
When y ou insert a formatted disc, the net w ork analyzer can automatically tell whether it
is LIF or DOS format. The only time y ou m ust c ho ose b et w een LIF and DOS is when y ou
initialize discs.
Initializing Discs
1. Before y ou initialize a opp y disk make sure the write-protect tab is completely sh ut.
2. Insert the disk with the lab el-side facing left.

Note
The disk driv e has a light that comes ON when the disk is b eing accessed.
Do not eject the disk when this light is ON or y ou could lo c k-up the net w ork
analyzer. If this o ccurs, simply place the disk bac k in to the driv e.
