2. INTRODUCTION
The DILUMAT S® is an easy-to-use diluter.
Obtaining a mother dilution of solid and semi-solid samples is the first step in microbiological
analysis. This step’s accuracy therefore affects the outcome of the entire analysis. The
manual method requires a long, tedious process of weighing the sample, using many bottles
of diluent (ex. one per sample).
The Dilumat S allows this step to be secure, optimized, and automated.
The user can quickly insert the sample quantity. The Dilumat S accurately weighs it and adds
exactly the right amount of diluent for the desired dilution factor.
The Dilumat S® can be connected to a larger volume of diluent (glass bottles; sterile pockets
or diluent processor).
Produced by AES Chemunex for over 20 years, the Dilumat S® lets you take advantage of
the latest innovations to make your job easier.
The LCD screen is user friendly. Its icons help you to understand the various menus and
features.
The simplified keyboard allows the device to be operated quickly.
The automatic rotating arm,
