11.  Remove pushrod from throttle arm on carburetor 

and cut throttle pushrod to length. 

12.  Gather the soldering tools as shown below. 
 

Note:  

For best results we recommend a high     

 

  quality Silver Solder like “Sta-Brite” silver    

  

solder. 

13.  Lightly sand end of pushrod for best bond. 

14.  Solder the threaded brass coupler to the end of 

the throttle pushrod.
