The cooking zones
The operating knobs can be turned
continuously from levels one to nine,
nine being the highest setting. There is
QUICKSTART on all levels, so you
can turn the zone to the required heat
setting from the start. See heat settings
table. The 14 and 18 cm cooking
zones are suitable for heating up and
cooking-on small and medium-sized
quantities. The 21 cm cooking zone is
suitable for frying and for heating and
cooking-on large quantities. The 12
cm cooking zone is not suitable for
heating up, but is ideal for melting,
keeping hot and preparing sauces etc.

This table is for guidance only. Heat settings depend on pans,
quantities and contents. You will soon learn to select the right
setting. See also section “Advice and tips on using the
cooking zones”.
