Record Channel
The system automatically activates the designated channel(s) to record once a Motion Detection event
occurs. Make sure you have set MD Record in Schedule screen (
Main Menu > Setting > Schedule
) and
Schedule Record on the Manual Record screen (
Main Menu > Advanced > Manual Record)
.
Delay
To avoid rerecording the same event, enter the number of seconds to wait after the event has ended
before a new recording can begin. This value ranges from 10s to 300s.
PTZ Activation
Select this feature to set Pan/Tilt/Zoom movement when an event occurs.

Click this button to open the PTZ Activation screen for setting up the camera.

Tour
Enable the tour function to present an alternating display (much like a slideshow) of the channel(s)
you have set to record when a motion detect event occurs. Refer to section
3.8.7 Display
on page
84 for tour interval setup.
Snapshot
Enable this function to take a snapshot image when a motion detect event occurs.
Buzzer
Enable this function to sound an audible tone from the NVR when the event occurs.
Test
Click this test the current motion detect setup. See section
Motion Detection
on page 86.
Note:
•
In the Detect main screen, the copy/paste function is only valid for the same event type. In
other words, you cannot copy a channel setup in Video Loss mode and paste it to a channel
in Camera Masking mode.
•
The Default function is only available for the current event type. For example, if you click the
Default
button in the Camera Masking dialog, only the default camera masking setup is
restored to default settings. It does not affect other detection types.
