Detect
The Detect screen is used for setting up the type of events for which you want to trigger a response,
such as triggering an alarm, sending an email or taking a snapshot. There are three detection types
that you can set as an event:

Motion Detection
•
Video Loss
•
Camera Masking
3.8.7.1
Detect Setup
To set up an event for triggering a response:
1.
Select
Main Menu > Setting > Detect
.
The
Detect
menu appears.

Highlight the box (
) to select the corresponding function.

After completing the setup, click the
Save
button.
The following describes the Detect window:
Event type
Select the desired event from the dropdown list: motion detection, video loss or camera masking.
Channel
Select a channel from the dropdown list that you want to enable for the event.
