Editing 3D properties
The 3D model appears inside a bounding box (also called an annotation). You can change
the properties of this area in the PDF document.
To edit properties for the 3D area:
1. Using the Select Object Tool, right-click the 3D model, and choose Properties.
2. Under Interface Settings, specify any of the following properties:

Enable Default 3D Interaction lets users rotate, move, and interact with the 3D model in
standard ways.

Show 3D Toolbar By Default displays the 3D toolbar with the enabled 3D content, and is
the default setting.

Open Model Tree By Default opens the Model Tree on the left side of the document
window whenever the 3D model is activated.
3. Under Activation Settings, do any of the following:

When a 3D model is not enabled, only the preview appears. You can select an option from
the Enable 3D When menu to determine whether the 3D model is enabled by clicking it,
by turning to the page containing the 3D model, or by making the 3D model visible. For
Default Animation State, specify whether the animation should be playing or paused. To
play or pause animation, the user can click the Play Animation button on the 3D toolbar.

You can select an option from the Disable 3D When menu to determine whether the 3D
model is disabled by choosing Disable 3D from the context menu, by turning away from
the page containing the 3D model, or when the 3D model goes out of view. For When 3D
Is Disabled, you can continue playing the animation, paused the animation, or reset the 3D
content so that only the preview appears.

Click Edit Content to replace the embedded 3D file, JavaScript, or preview image.

Click Manage Views to add and remove views of the 3D model as well as rename views
or reorder the list of views in the Views list.
