Heat Exchan g er Make s u re there are no cracks.
See Page 19, Section 9 .
Make s u re there is no sagging, b ending or distortion.
Clean or replace as req u ired.
Gas Line and Shut-off
Valves Check for gas leaks. See Page 19, Section 9 .
Burner Observation
Window Make s u re it is clean and free of cracks or holes.
Clean and replace as req u ired.
Flue Blower Scroll, Wheel
and Motor Compressed air or a vac uu m cleaner may b e u sed to clean d u st and dirt.
Inshot Burners and
Orifices Clear of o b str u ctions (even spider w e b s w ill ca u se pro b lems).
Caref u lly remove any d u st and de b ris from the bu rner.
Direct-Spark I g niter Replace if there are cracked ceramics, excessive car b on resid u e, or erosion
of the electrode.
The electrode gap sho u ld b e 1/8" (3.2 mm).
Thermostat There sho u ld b e no exposed w ire or damage to the device or w iring.
See Page 21, Section 10 .
Suspension Points Make s u re the heater is hanging sec u rely.
Look for signs of w ear on the s u spension materials or ceiling.
See Page 10, Figure 5 .
Silicone Tubin g Ens u re tight, sec u re fit on all press u re fittings at press u re s w itch,
bu rner partition, and b lo w er o u tlet.
Gas Valve Verify that cap covering press u re reg u lator adj u stment scre w is sec u re and
has not b een tampered w ith.
Verify all w iring connections.
Condensate Drain
(when installed) Fl u sh drain and clear any o b str u ctions.
Wall Ta g If a w all tag is present, make s u re it is legi b le and acc u rate. Please contact
Addison or yo u r ADDISON ® independent distri bu tor if yo u need a w all tag.
