All heater models req u ire constant 120 V / 1Ø / 60
Hz po w er s u pply. Check heater rating plate for
electrical rating for proper circ u it sizing. For
servicing, a disconnect s w itch of proper electrical
rating sho u ld b e installed in the vicinity of the heater.
All heaters are eq u ipped w ith thermostat
connections s u ita b le to po w er a 24 V thermostat.
Heater m u st b e w ired and electrically gro u nded in
accordance w ith local codes. In the a b sence of local
codes in accordance w ith: United States: refer to
National Electrical Code ® NFPA 70 - latest revision
Canada: refer to Canadian Electrical Code CSA

10.1 Positionin g Thermostats
A room thermostat sho u ld b e mo u nted on a
vi b ration-free w all or col u mn at a height of
approximately 5' (1.5 m) from the floor to meas u re
the am b ient temperat u re. It sho u ld b e clear of b oth
cold drafts and the direct path of w arm air from the
heater.
Avoid mo
u nting thermostat on o u tside w alls or in
areas directly exposed to radiant heat or s u nlight.
Install w all tag in a visi b le location near thermostat.

10.1.1 Fan Control
The heater’s axial fan can b e u sed d u ring the off-
season for air circ u lation. A lo w voltage
programma b le thermostat w ith fan s w itch (P/N
90425400) m u st b e u sed. See Page 21, Section
10.2 for thermostat connection details. For the u se
of m u ltiple heaters on one thermostat, See Page 22,
Section 10.3 through Page 23, Section 10.4 .
10.2 Low Volta g e Thermostat with One Heater

required to disconnect electric from
