Calibration Procedure
This section describes the calibration procedure.
1. Enter the calibration mode. : CAL1
2. Refer to Section 7.3, “How to Connect the Instrument” and connect the instru-
ment.
3. Refer to Figure 7-3 Calibration Flow, and perform the IV offset calibration and
then the current measurement calibration.
4. Save the calibration data by executing XWR. : XWR
5. Terminate the calibration mode. : CAL0
NOTE:
The IV offset calibration and the current measurement calibration do not have to be performed consecu-
tively.
For example, when calibrating multiple instruments, the IV offset calibration can be performed to all the
instruments, and then the current measurement calibration can be performed later.
7.6.1
IV Offset Calibration
1. Refer to Figure 7-1 Connection Diagram for the IV Offset Calibration, and con-
nect the instrument.
2. Open the input and perform the zero calibration.

3. Connect a 1 k
resistor and perform the full calibration.

4. A calibration error may occur if any induction noise occurs. If any induction
noise occurs, re-execute calibration.
5. When the calibration is complete, terminate the calibration mode by executing
CAL0. If performing the current measurement calibration consecutively, proceed
to the current measurement calibration without executing CAL0.
7.6.2
Current Measurement Calibration
1. Refer to Figure 7-2 Connection Diagram for the Current Measurement Calibra-
tion, and connect the instrument.
2. Initialize all the calibration data.

Perform the zero calibration in all ranges.
3. Set the range.
