Command Separator
The following four methods can be used, the rest cause an error.
•
Inserting no space between commands.
<Example>
DW1R11
(Setting the unit display to W and the measurement range to 200 mW))
•
Inserting a space between commands.
<Example>
WL405 SM1
(Setting the measurement wavelength to 405 nm and the smoothing calculation to
ON)
•
Insert a comma between each command.
<Example>
CF1.5,CFS1
(Setting the CF coefficient to 1.5 and the CF calculation to ON)
•
Insert a semicolon between each command.
<Example>
RT1;MAX1
(Setting the RATIO calculation to ON and MAX calculation to ON)

Command Terminator
Send a command without the terminators such as CR or LF at the end of the command strings.

Executing Commands
•
Because all commands are executed according to the program order, if a command is sent while the
previous command is being executed, the command must wait until the execution of the previous
command is complete.
•
Each command must be 64 characters or less.
•
Invalid commands cause errors and cannot be executed.
•
Even if many commands, one of which contains an error, are sent, all commands before the error can
be executed.
All commands after the error are ignored.
•
If any command causes the instrument to enter the remote control mode, the key pad cannot be used.
* By performing the following operations, this instrument can be returned to the local condition and the
keys can be used.
•
Press the
[LOCAL]
key.
•
Close USB.
•
Remove the USB connector.
