5 Operations After Start of Probing

5-2

5.1 Device Parameter Modifications During Lot Processing

To check and/or change the parameter settings after
lot processing has begun, first stop the probing, and
touch the <Device Parameter Change> button.

The screen changes to [Probing parameter] (shown
on left).

The parameters and parameter groups shown here
are Device and Basic Operational parameters that
are changeable during the lot processing. (The other
parameters are not accessible once lot processing
begins.)

To change the overdrive amount, you can also use
the <Needle Align Pos. Correct> button on the text
map screen, as explained on the following page.

Whether or not parameter groups “Yield Check
Settings” and later are displayed depend on their
application to the current lot or availability of
corresponding optional functions on the prober.

When you have changed the parameters and wish to
limit the effect of the changes to only the remaining
wafers of the current lot, touch the <Setting End>
button. To keep the changes effective for future lots
also, touch the <Data Store> button.
