15. Replacing the battery
Remove or change the flat batteries immediately to prevent the batteries from leaking.
For disposal of the flat batteries, observe the section ”19. Disposal”.
a) Radio remote control
It is necessary to replace the batteries if:
• the radio range is reduced noticeably
• the control lamp of the radio remote control flashes
• there is no reaction of the door lock actuator to operation by radio

The radio remote control requires a 3V-Lithium button cell of the type ”CR2016”.
Replace the battery as described in section 11.
b) Door lock actuator
• A flashing battery symbol ( ) is shown on the LC display after a decrease in the battery
voltage.
• The device thereby emits three warning sounds after each basic function which is carried
out.

The door lock actuator requires three batteries of the type ”Mignon/AA”. Replace the
batteries as described in section 9. d).
The settings are not lost thereby.
